  1. Here's the answer to your RPG question.

I'll try to get the character generation tutorial up as quickly as I can.
Also, if you have detailed questions about how to start a game, find players, and run a campaign.
Just post in the Nexus Arcana general discussion board.

Start with the Basic D30 rules.
In general the sequence of play goes like this:
Game Lord posts his intro for adventure story and gathers a player group.
    Player makes decision.
Game Lord orders a roll which begins combat/action sequence.
    Action sequence goes as follows:

INITIATIVE (highest wins on a 1D10)

ATTACKER GOES (may use only 1 attack at a time)

DEFENDER GOES (may use only 1 attack at a time unless a roll is used)

DAMAGE IS RESOLVED (if any) AFTER EACH ATTACK

AFTER ALL ATTACKS ARE USED THE MELEE IS OVER
  2. Sorry for the delay in my reply Rai.
As you can probably tell, the spammers are keeping me busy.
I've had numerous attempts at hacking into my admn account here and it's driving me nuts.

Of course you can blog on here.
You're a VIP and that means you have the priviledge to do so at your leisure.
Post anything you want in the blog section.
If you have any problems with it, PM me and I'll fix it ASAP (I don't normally check my visitor messages, PM is best).

Prime Administrator, do you mind if I can blog? I saw the blog entry and figured it'd be better to ask you. Do you mind? Also could you explain to me how to roleplay on here? Truth be told this is actually very foreign; I've never gone that indepth before.
  4. Thank you for posting today.
I think I may have actually gotten the "spoiler" tags to work.
You'd think for $300.00 the vBulletin software would come with that but....oh well.

Lurk, and post all you want. :D
I will be trying to find better smilies for the forum.
I know there's a whole slew of them out there but there is one particular set I'm looking for that is used at Criticalfumble.org.
I'll have to keep surfing the web to find them.

Hmm? Oh you shouldn't be so worried. I'm quite fine and I know you aren't ignoring me. Or rather, I know you are busy at the moment. I am simply stalking and lurking about the place as it becomes more and more functional.

Coming out of hibernation.

Due to a wide range of personal issues with members of the Yesod Publications team, and the loss of one of our members due to illness (Proud Proletarian is gone but not forgotten), the Nexus Arcana website will slowly be rebuilt and refined for the next three novels which Kodai Okuda is currently working on.
Recently it has come to our attention that there has been theft of copyrighted and trademarked material from this website (mostly from the Role Playing Game sections) and so the Nexus

Who Was John Campbell?

by Prime Administrator on 04-16-2011 at 07:25 PM
That's a good question...I hope this short article will answer it for most people.
To better understand the concept of Campbellian science fiction, one must understand who John Campbell was and how he viewed the genre of Sci-Fi.
John Woods Campbell Jr. began his career in Sci-Fi writing as a young student attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1930 with two stories published in the pulp fanzine of the day Amazing. Oddly enough, his first short story appeared in
