    Information Society.

A "one hit wonder band" is how some people might describe Information Society, but I disagree.

They were one of the best "alternative" rock bands of the 1980s.

Here are two of their best known songs:

Information Society definitely has that 80s sound down pat.
Heck, you could have several catagories in the rock 'n roll forum.
Some of my favorites are: blues rock (Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton), classic rock (The Doors, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Ozzy!), 80s rock (Depeche Mode rocks!, Concrete Blonde, New Order, Pet Shop Boys), what us "old foggies" called Progressive Rock (Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel)

I should stop...I love music. Almost all of it. Rap can take a dirt nap, though. Except for Tone Loc.
Ahh...I miss MTV when they actually showed good music videos.
VH1 is sometimes cool, but usually I just see the metal big hair bands when I put it on.
