Writer Henrik Galeen, is one of the best movie writers of the 20th Century IMHO.
He was responsible for the scripts of all three of Director Paul Wegener's Golem movies and Murnau's Nosferatu.
Der Golem being among the movies I used to help formulate my original character who current readers of the Dirge of Daedalus fanfiction trilogy know as Enoch Apsu.
